Yes, church has changed so much, and I can truly say that I hate most of it. Some people go to church because they really hunger more of God, but still many others just go because it makes them look good, sad.

Weeping? i think they are salivating at the chance to right all the wrongs via wicked xtermination. I think Jesus weeps when a child is brought into the world and is abused in some way or another. I think he weeps because there is no other way but the fiery, consuming way, to make it all good.

I'm sure they're not happy about it, however they knew it was coming. Paul said in 2 Thess. that a "falling away" or apostasy would occur. Peter said that people would "mock" the Bible and hold it in contempt. And John wrote how the church would be lethargic in the last days in Revelation.

I don"t know about the Peter thing.I think we have gotten ourselves very far from the idea of being in the world but not of it. We often excuse our behaviors and quickly point out the wrongs of others. We should be busy msaking ourselves holy and an example to the world spo our lives are our testimony not our words. We should be busy seperating out the chaffe from us rather than focusing on those who are not among us.

The One True Church Christ established 2000 years ago (Roman Catholicism) is true and intact FAITHWISE and will never falter (the clergy do betray Jesus many times, but the faith is 100% pure), because of the Holy Spirit. I do think that God isn't happy that there are now so many divisions among CHristianity, due to the Protestant Reformation.
Teach them to do everything I have commanded you. "And remember that I am always with you until the end of time." Matthew 28:20

Yes, that's why I don't belong to an organized religion or church. I think Paul, Peter and Jesus would say, "I never told you to collect all this money in my name. I never created your 'bless me!' gospel. You lost your focus and left your first love."

Being as Jesus was pretty much against church in the first place, I would say he is pretty much disappointed.
He thought faith and actions were the most important part of religion, and going to church was trivial. If you need proof of this, read the sermon on the mount.
