It's fine. Just make sure they know how to get out. You can show them where the stairs are.

Yes, it's fine, unless the dog insists on drinking too much pool water. Most won't want to anyway.
Also, even if your dog is a strong swimmer, make sure it is able to get out, and that it knows how to. You might need to show him/her the best way to get out of the pool.
Don't give the dog unsupervized access to the pool.
Make sure the owner of the pool doesn't mind having a dog in there.
Other than that, fine, and have lots of fun!

Its just water its totally fine for the dog if you make sure it doesn't like start drinking the water like crazy. The only bad thing is there is hair in your pool now but if that doesn't bother you then happy swimming for your dog(s).
thx for being a concerned pet owner

The chlorine won't hurt it. It isn't really that good for their coat. The only thing is they might tear the liner. We had a heck of a time getting my dog out when he wouldn't climb back up the ladder and began to panic.

They LOVE it! It's never harmed my dogs that I know of. If they are shedding, you'll get dog hair in the pool, but what DOESN'T get in the pool?

As long as the chlorine isn't too strong. If it is it will irritate the dog's eyes. Also don't let him drink the water.
