It was after losing my parents. I had two sets of parents due to my mother being ill after I was born. I lost my dad who had brought me up at the age of 11, and then 5 months later my natural mum died (who I knew).
At the age of 11 and 12 I compared the two losses.
One was a Christian, and the other was not.
For over a year, I weighed up the facts of what had occured, and decided that I wanted that relationship with God which had made all the difference in my dad's life and death.
At the age of 13, I surrended my life to God.
That was almost 38 years, ago, and as I look back over my life, I know without doubt, that that was the best decision of my life.

To humble ones self, to admit that you are a sinner, to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour To ask for God to have mercy on you for all your sins, To be forgiven for those sins. To turn your heart and life over to Jesus.

The convicting power of the Holy Spirit will open the eyes of one, and show them their sins , and you become humbled as you realise all the wrong things you have done, all the wrongs you have done to underserving others, all the wrongs done to you, and you get to the point that you are so sorry for not believeing sooner and rejecting God and his teaching you just feel so regreatful for your disbelief, and you realise the suffering that Jesus Christ did for us, so that we may be redeamed and have eternal life. The majority of people will began to weep, as they begin to ask God for forgiveness. This is where the born again experience takes place. God will forgive us for all of our sins. You now are a new creation in Christ. Your past has been erased and you will never have to face your past again, it is wash away and forgotten by God. Hope this helps !

There is saying "Let go and let God". To me it means giving God the control and credit over me and my life. And it feels good, knowing God is always here for me. It took years for me to get to this point. God didn't give up on me. I believe he has other plans for me in this life, and that's how I got to this point, how I became a published writer of christian poetry, how I became a christian. Sometimes I feel it is a uphill battle, but the rewards are more than worth it. I give all thanks, all glory, at all times, with all my heart and soul to My Lord.

Well, I'm a witch, so you probably don't even want my answer. But when My Steve was alive, he was very good at invoking the Horned God. I surrendered to him joyfully, on the bed.

It means everything to me, I open up my heart to him, and he comes. It's amazing. I don't know what I'd do without God.
