He was a take-out order from Adam's Ribs. It's a great little rib joint near the Dearborn Station.
They forgot to order the coleslaw though.

Adam didn't make Eve. God did using Adam's rib. God made Adam from the dust of the ground. It's clearly stated in the Genesis account.

As I understand the story, Adam did not make Eve out of his rib, but God made Eve out of one of Adam's ribs. This was in order to say that she is a part of him, and probably metaphorically "from his heart," in the sense that the rib used was over his heart.
This is yet another example of a Bible story that can only be understood for its symbolic value. Clearly a god that could create Adam out of the dust of the ground could have used the same technique for Eve. That he chose not to was for the symbolic value.

God made Adam and then God created Eve from Adam's rib. Adam was formed from the dirt & then God breathed life into him.

If you were to read the account, God made Adam then fashioned Eve from Adams rib. So, God made them both.

God made Eve from Adam's rib,so that she would be a part of him (like cloning).
20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field.
But for Adam [h] no suitable helper was found. 21 So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs [i] and closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib [j] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
23 The man said,
"This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called 'woman, [k] '
for she was taken out of man."
24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
Genesis 1:26- The Beginning -
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis: 26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [b] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them (Both).
28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
