It's just odd that you never see him in a hurry... ever wonder why?

He does not have to run because he is neither in a hurry nor is he afraid of anyone to run from.

No, he didn't. Why? Think about it.

He's going around with the other apostles from house to house. EVERYONE wants to offer him a FEAST. He can't refuse them, that wouldn't be right, so every night they're all chowing down on huge amounts of food.

That's right, Jesus and the apostles weren't the skinny bearded guys you see in paintings. They were all pretty overweight and had bellies and double-chins, from eating all that food.

That's also why he went out in the desert for such a long time. He was trying to get away from all that food. I mean, come on, after a while, you just can't stomach another buffet.

It's also why, when he was hanging on the cross, everyone who knew him was so shocked. In the days before, he and the apostles had been in hiding, so they weren't able to eat like before. And then, when he was finally crucified, there was this skinny guy with ribs showing and a sallowed face... nothing like the chubby faced, beer bellied pal who's always laughing and having a great time, that everyone used to know and love.

It's a long forgotten verbal story of the real Jesus. It later manifested itself in the concept of Santa Claus. The reason they made him a fat, chubby character is that he was based on the image of Jesus that had been passed down through verbal stories over many generations.

Later, the church made up the image of Jesus as a skinny guy because most of the people were skinny and starving. It would be hard to tell them to be like Jesus when, in order to be and look like him, they'd all have to share in the wealth of their kings and lords. So instead, Jesus became skinny, "just like them", to keep them pacified and accepting their lot in life.

But make no mistake of it. Read the Bible and try to follow the same lifestyle Jesus did. You will gain 75 pounds in a year.

An eternal being has no need to run.

An all powerful being has nothing from which to run.

And Jesus always knew that the reason he was sent was to draw all people to himself:

Joh 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
Joh 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me.

No need for running there, either.

I believe in a few movies when he sees the desecration of the temple, he does run and turns over things as he does. The majority of the time, I believe he walked slowly because it was expected that learned men did. Running was for children or soldiers.

Movies are movies....the time frame of a movie does not allow them to say or show everything, and, just as with any "book" is far from what the author originally wrote anyway.

May you find peace :)

Being Omnipresent, all He had to do was think about being somewhere, and he was there, or several places at once. That's the power of the Jesus we serve !

No idea, probably because he has all the time in the world, so why hurry? I'm sure he ran.
