It would have been worse if you didn't do anything & you missed your chance, sometimes you have to take risks in life.As you also said he's shy & he could have taken ages to make the first move, hope your date goes well.

I don't think it's wrong, and some guys are so afraid of rejection, hurting that male ego that they won't ask. You just helped show that there is a mutual feeling, kind of broke the ice. Go out have a great time, and let him now take the lead.

No, those are just old fashioned mindsets. Lots of guys will appreciate that you asked them first, cause they're too shy to do it. I mean, my boyfriend and I emailed all last summer after I told him that I liked him, and it took him two months after school started for him to ask me. I think it's great that you asked him out first!

Oh please go to the cinema. If he makes a move cool if he does not and the signals are ther for you to make a move cool. if nothing happens then at least you have been ouot with a friend to see a movie
