It shouldn't be horribly complicated, but it should be good. And again, no bacon and eggs, no waffles, no pancakes. I'm tired of those.

I love having fried plantains with fried beans. I'm latin so this is a very common breakfast. What you do is buy ripe plantains, peel them just like bananas, cut it in half width wise and then cut those into slices length wise. Pour oil into a semi-deep frying pan, to where it covers the plantains, and fry until they're golden brown. For the beans, you can buy a can of black fried beans, but I like to make them. To make them soak the beans over night, in the morning, dump out the water put fresh water and cook over the stove in a deep pot. You might have to keep adding water when it drys a bit. Just add a bit of salt and garlic and onions to the beans while they're cooking. It might take a couple hours. They're done when they're soft. Then let them cool and using a blender blend them to a soft pudding like substance. Then in a pan add oil and fry the blended beans. Then just add sour cream and ready to eat! I hope you enjoy it, in spanish platanos y frijoles!

Cold leftover pizza, frozen dinners, or a granola bar.

These are my usual breakfasts. I would kill for bacon and eggs, but I can't cook and I don't have time.

Who says you have to have breakfast food for breakfast? Make something else, like soup or salad. Maybe you want steak for breakfast. Mix it up a little!

I hate eating breakfast but I know it is very important to eat in the morning. I really like the protein shakes because is easier to drink than to eat. I have tried several and the lattes I am having is called "Ultra Meal", it is not bad at all especially because I put any fruit that I have available (bananas, strawberry, pineapple), and instead of water I mix it with soy milk, it provides me with good nutrients until lunch time.
