Of course, it depends on the neighborhood. So let's say Starrett City in Carnarsie, two bedroom about $1200 a month. Today, a lot of apartments in Brooklyn's better neighborhoods have gone co-op. A co-op will cost you about $120,000 for two bedrooms in a good neighborhood.

I dont know. I live in Chicago and I have a friend that rents a one bedroom basement for $650
I'd say $800+

You can get a quaint (read:small) but decent 2-bedroom for about $1600-$2200.
