yep type your make and model number into google follewed by "dvd hack" without the comma's and it will give you a code to enter via your remote , however they struggle to hack sony dvd players pretty much

No, buy a multi region DVD like the Sony one. It can play all forms of CD and DVD. Cool huh?

If your player isn't already region free, go to http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/info/multiregion/hackable.asp and click on the player you own. There are 93 pages of players, so yours should be listed somewhere.
