I am re-posting this question to get a guy's perspective so pls. bear with me..

There is this guy at work who has kind of liked me for a while now..
He always tries to get my attention, tries to run into me, does a head turn when I walk by, stares at me etc..
I have never lead him on in fact I completely ignore him when he's around.
For the past few weeks he had been playing a little low so I thought he's finally getting the point that I am not interested and moving on but he did something out of the ordinary.
I was standing in the cafeteria with my friends and he came by.He kept turning back and looking at me again and again and at one point he just stood there staring at me and he was not ready to look away..
I am really baffled by this behaviour and I am still trying to figure out why he acted like this ?
Was he trying to tell something to me?
What was he thinking?
Any thoughts why a guy would act like this?Whats going on through his mind?

Usually turning back and looking at someone again and again is because something seems different so they guy is trying to figure out what it is. Did you change your hair, or something like that?

The thoughts that he has on his mind are only his to know. He maybe thinking a lot of things, asking you out, letting you know that he really likes you, etc, etc. What I suggest is to talk to him. Let him know that you are not interested and that you are feeling weird when he is close to you. Some women think that by ignoring guys they are telling them they are not interested, but what women don't know is that some guys really like to chase women and they actually think that they can break the ice between you two.

Sounds to me you attached with a nerd. according to probability in case you enable pass somewhat he will ask your self what's up and then pursue you. If he has a tricky time beginning off up you're able to desire to be tactful in the thank you to help him. My female pal and that i've got been collectively for terribly almost 3 years now and that i'm lastly beginning off to experience tender to chat to her approximately specific issues. fairly if a adult men been harm earlier, he will have that wall up till the subsequent woman he's with proves herself worth sufficient to return in. only be certain he's no longer a WoW feind. I regrettably understand too lots of people who're getting divorced over that rattling pastime.

You evidently are not aware that you are starring at him. I quote "He kept turning back and looking at me again and again and at one point he just stood there starring at me and he was not ready to look away..." The only way you could have known that is if you were starring at him.

Do you call completely ignoring him starring at him?

he likes you but don't know how to go about asking you out or whatever----so try being kind and tell him you are not interested and that he isn't the type of guy you like---if that don't work tell him to get lost or you will report him for harassment! That should end it quick

It could be that he likes you but is too afraid to confront you about it. You can give him some attention back, or tell him you're not interested. Or he's a freak who wants you in his basement. Be careful.

He was probably trying to sum up the balls to ask you out, but fell short. You should just be proactive and tell him you're not interested. At least then you squash the ambiguity.
