and the smell is TERRIBLE!!!! Does anyone one know of any homemade concoctions or something to get the smell off? THANKS SO MUCH!!!

50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water. Don't get it in her eyes (just like you wouldn't get soap in her eyes! Douse her down with the mixture, let her shake it off, douse again. Let her shake it off. Then put her outside to dry off. Vinegar is an acid (a very very weak one!!!! - it's in pickel juice and we all eat pickels so it's not going to hurt her!) but it will kill bacteria, proteins, etc
ps. tomato juice might work (later post) because tomatoes are acidic as well - so it's the same as using vinegar ;) But I have a friend who used tomato juice and was very unimpressed with the results

You could try the vinegar bath as suggested and if that doesn't work try a bath with baking soda. Baking soda is a natural oder diffuser and works great on getting rid of pet oders and oders on pets. Give it a try. Hope you get rid of the small. I know how that can be. I own three dogs who like to roll in ANYTHING they can find.

go to pet smart and ask them what they would reccomend or call your vet he or she might advise you on what you could use or if worse comes to worse take the dog to the groomer and guarantee they wont smell like that when you bring them home if they do find another groomer . good luck .

Good old fashion tomato juice. It’s not just for skunk smell. It will get rid of just about any odor.

you should clean her for hours thats what i do. that is the only thing that works for me.
