I love them both equally, but I get along better with my mother.

My father left when I was four but I missed him and loved him very much. I guess I blamed my Mom for him not being around. Now I have kids and I think back on everything my mom had to deal with alone. My Mom is my best friend and My Angel. I love both very much but I would be lost with out my mother.

To be honest, although my father is very like me in every way possible, I would have to say it is my mom. She is self-less and loves us unconditionally- not that Dad doesn't love us. It is just that my mother's devotion and love was shown in care, verbal support and gestures. Whilst dad is more reserved. Mom also helps us nourish our spirit through prayer.
So I'd have to say its my mom.
Sorry Dad.
Though I couldn't think of how I will live without them both.

Growing up, I loved my parents pretty equally, but at times I loved one more than the other, depending on the issues I was having at the time..like if my mom didnt like my boyfriend I loved my dad more, or if my dad disciplined me, then I loved my mom more. but that's typical of growing up I think. As an adult, I loved them each for their unique personalities, and now that my dad has died I wish I'd have told him more often.

Dad died when I was two so I never really knew him. I feel that I love my father although he isn't here but love my mom unconditionally as she raised and put up with all my character defects while raising me. So in answer to your question I would have to say that since my mom had the unfortunate task of raising this hellion that she would get my vote. Thanks mom for all the love and care you have shown, especially through my finding myself.
