The basics for that are answered by the "Rule of 3s": Three minutes without oxygen, three days without water and three weeks without food.

These are not "iron-clad" rules. But on the average it will work out that way.

Length of time, activity level, etc all have a bearing.

For instance, if your at a all night rave, and have taken some "E", then your hyperness tends to dehydrate you quicker, you could dehydrate in hours.

It depends on the envioronment. In some deserts, it can get to 150 degrees and you will probably die quicker than say someone in Minnesota.

Depending on how hydrated you were to begin with you can live about 3 to 4 days without water.
