Following on from my last question about Tesco.....

I was in tears because I was so angry and no one at Tesco had the courtesy to call me to let me know what was going on.

The manager said that it was a breaskdown in communication, the driver failed to deliver my shopping between 9-11am this morning, I have been waiting until 6pm tonight to get a call to be told that I may not get my delivery.
He has refunded my card.

About ten minutes later, another driver arrives with my shopping which has just been refunded.

What would you do, bearing in mind, Tesco had a 'dont give a sh*t attitude to me?'

take the shopping and shaft them as they do to everyone else if they want their money then let them take you to the small claims court you wont have to pay their costs if you lose so its not finacially viable for them to do so either way you win ha ha ha happy shopping ps look at the amount of cars they knackered up with tainted petrol and are they gonna pay out eveyone even those who never kept their receipt? so they can go f++k themselves viva la shopper

It all depends on you, you know the error that was made, I know in my case I would be tempted to say nothing, but then I would feel guilty. If you do call the company I would request a discount because you were told a specific time and because of their lack of organization you wasted your entire day waiting for them, what would have happened if they came during the scheduled time and you were not there??? would they have charged you addtional fee's. The bottom line is that it is up to you. Also the company should find the error and correct it, so the choice is up to you if you want them to find the error, or if you want to let them know. Good Luck this is kind of a hard one.

Keep the shopping, they didn't turn up on time, it's their fault. Tesco make millions every day. If they call you just think of a good lie, like you didn't realise they had re-credited your card. They probably won't though. Well done you!

Do nothing until they contact you. If they do, say you assumed they would automatically re-charge your card now you have the shopping. Enjoy the extra cash!

Personally I would let them know that you got your order. If they have anyone there with any kind of customer service they might just not charge you. At any rate, I would def. let the company know how you were treated.

i wouldnt do anything, the least they can do is to compensate you for the hassle and upset they gave you, if they say ote to you tell them you thought it was a kind gesture on their part for what happened. i wouldnt pay for the shopping now whatsoever.
