I exercise, eat healthier than most Americans, but I still often feel depleted of energy. Suggestions? Specific foods? I am hypo-thyroid and take medication for it. TIA

for one, have you had your ferritin, b12, pottasium, etc ck'd
a lot of people w/thyroid issues seem to have issues with other things....also where are your free t4 & free t3 at as they may not be optimal....should be at least mid range or higher....
do you eat a lot of soy, or goitegens (raw cabbage, broccoli), use a lot of flouride as all these things can interfere with thyroid function...

I know that the rule of the day is less carbs, but you may need to get more carbs for extra energy. Also, when I am feeling really depleted of energy, I make myself a fresh fruit smoothie. I use a frozen banana, yogurt(whatever flavor I feel like) and some fresh fruit like strawberries or whatever you like. I even freeze melon for smoothies. Anyway, throw it in a blender until it is smooth and drink it up! It works for me. Try it.
