If you mean in the UK they cant have firearms full stop.The question isnt clear.In places like Iraq then the rules will be governed by the local administration.

They use what they're issued. What they're issued is determined by who they work for and who that company works for. Usually that falls under Department of State or Department of Defense or the British equivalents.

The limitations depend on where you are, what you are securing and how much government support your boss(es) has.

Your boss will either issue you your weapons or tell you what to buy.

depends on the country and licensing of such things..

if someone isn't trained to use such things , they can cause as much danger to themselves
