My boyfriend and I had intercourse using the withdrawal method. My period was 5 days late but I've since have gotten my period. It's now the second day of my period. Is it possible or likely that I can be pregnant even though I am having my period?

yes it is very possible a girl I work with just found out last week that she is seven months pregnant...she had no idea she was having normal periods and felt fine...she didn't figure it out until she started getting heavier at around 6.5 months...save yourself some worry and get a pregnancy test.

If you had a normal period, then you are most likely not pregnant. Many women do have bleeding when they are pregnant, so take a test if ther's even a chance. Also, if you are pregnant, the bleeding is not a period. A period is the disposal of the unused egg and uterus lining, and if that happened when you are pregnant it would be a miscarriage.

It can be possible to become pregnant by having unprotected sex, even if you have your period. Its a small chance, however it could happen. I would get tested and not use the withdrawl method when having sex, men ejaculate a little bit before actual ejaculation (called pre-***) and this can get a woman pregnant.
