When was the last time you heard of a fundamentalist Christian Protestant strapping on a suicide belt and blowing himself up at a Catholic funeral?

Historically, Catholicism (in the name of Christianity, although the bible does not support many of their teachings, and I therefor do not consider Catholicism a Christian religion). Today, Islam is more violent, although they are radical Islamics, and also misinterpret the teachings of the Koran.

Historically, about the same. The Christians have recently cleaned it up some so maybe they get a little credit right now. that doesn't mean that I don't think they still have it in them.

In these modern days far more people have died in non-religious wars. America is one of the most populated with Christians. There has never been a religious war in America. hmmmm.

Even though you have narrowed your question down. It is of interest that atheistic governments have been the cause of millions of deaths! But that wasn't the question was it?

Perfect religion according to Father God is to visit the orphans & widows, etc... and to keep self from sinful living.

This is the LORD God of the bible. And also, the commandmanst are to Love the LORD God with all your heart mind soul & strength. And to love your neighbor as yourself. And to even love enemies. And also Christians are warriors and violent in prayer against spiritual wickedness in high places. This is the spiritual wickedness roots in evil rulers or sinful people. So, the warriors outfit is described in Ephesians 6.

In Islam they fight oppressors of Islamic faith & unbelievers with a sword to nip at the backs of necks & tips of fingers or tie them up on a pole & cut one arm off & one leg off, etc... So? In the Koran is commandments to torture to death those who oppose them. That is why they kill those, even family member who leaves Islam for faith in Christ.

Also, as Christians, Jesus already bore our violence on the cross. He became a curse for us & since He Is innocent, death couldn't keep Him in the grave, & He raised from the dead.

And how many times has this question been asked?

Both have long histories of bloodshed, mass murder, and injustice. Neither is "better" than the other in that context.
