LDS (Mormon is really just a nickname) and I'm 39:

1. We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
2. We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgression.
3. We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
4. We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
5. We believe that man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.
6. We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitave Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.
7. We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.
8. We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
9. We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
10. We believe in the literal gathering of Isreal and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradiscal glory.
11. We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
12. We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring and sustaining the law.
13. We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul--We believe all things, we hope all things, whe have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Sorry to be long winded. But when Joseph Smith was asked the same question. That is how he answered.

I believe Paradise by the Dashboard Light is the best rock and roll song ever recorded. I believe french fries and scrambled eggs taste better with catsup. I believe organized religion has always been the single greatest obstacle to human development. I believe RC is better than both Coke and Pepsi. I believe the Seattle Seahawks were cheated out of a victory in Super Bowl XL by poor officiating. I believe the most noble human endeavor is the pursuit of knowledge. I believe the greatest president in U.S. history was Franklin Roosevelt. Greatest in my lifetime was Bill Clinton. I believe brussels sprouts are revolting. I believe there was a 2nd gunman at the grassy knoll. I believe Jennifer Connelly is the most beautiful woman to ever appear on film.
I have no religion and I'm 39.
Here's your star...

God lives, as does his son Jesus Christ. Life is no spontaneous accident, there is a purpose, to learn to know God and to emulate the life of his son Jesus Christ brings satisfaction and a knowledge that life existed before this mortal existence and will continue after death. The Holy Bible is the word of a living God as far as it is translated correctly. It is the user manual for life. The wars, killing and troubles we see in the world today could be eliminated if people would practice Christian conduct. Age 71

I am agnostic. I don't think we limited beings are capable of grasping the divine if it exists. I don't know and I don't think anyone else does either, even if they believe they do.

My sense is that religious beliefs are constructs and are probably very limited in their scopes. We can't help but thrust our own experiences into our abstract ideas, and I don't think we can get past that.

I don't think it matters if I'm right or wrong. I think questioning and exploration can only help, and whatever mechanism people use to get by in this harsh, unpredictable world is no business of mine.

Okay I don't really have a religion but I believe that every one has there own heaven. I don't believe the bible because it sounds to fishy to be real. I think there is no such thing as Hell either. But I do believe there is a God. Age 12

I am a "Believer." I call myself this because I believe in God. I do not at this stage of my life believe in being labeled any one specific religion.I find more peace within myself sitting on the tailgate of my truck at midnight..alone in my yard, or on a beach alone at night talking to God than I do sitting in a church pew reciting a bunch of words that everyone else is saying.I am not against organized religion..just don't choose it for me. I am 56 years old tomorrow!!!!

And to God belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. He forgives whomsoever He pleases and punishes whomsoever He pleases, and God is Most Forgiving, Merciful.

Holy Quran

The prophet of God said: Deal gently with people, and be not harsh; cheer them and condemn not.

I will make it simple, i believe everyone is responsible for his action, and no one can be sure that he will go to paradise and no one can claim if the other person is going to hell.
