Small dogs are notoriously difficult to train.

I would start using a crate if you don't already. Pop her in the crate when you can't keep an eye on her. Dogs will do their best not to defecate or urinate where their bedding is.

Also, get her on a routine. Write up a chart and stick to it. If she is peeing everywhere, take her out to potty every hour or two as you would with a puppy until she gets the hang of it. Walk, feed and play with her at scheduled times. Young dogs will need to potty after any activity like walks or play.

Good luck!

Trickster_19 is absolutely correct. Small dogs are difficult! Just keep being consistent. You may want to get an odor and enzyme remover for the places he has used as his bathroom.

FYI - I have 2 poms, both are 5 years old and still not completely housebroke. I don't know if they ever will be, but I won't give up on trying. I have invested in a steam cleaner. It makes my life much easier!

Good luck!

Contain your pet in a kennel cab and take it out every 3 hours, let it potty, then bring it directly back in,don't allow it to play after doing its job, repeat this about 2 weeks and your pet should be trained, but remember don't let it play after doing its job,or it will get confused about why you're putting it out.

after every meal or drink he/she has, put them outside to let them pee (or poop). if this doesnt work, then maybe he is drinking too much water.
