ok, i am cooking dinner for my parent's anniversary this year. I want to know if this dinner sounds good to you guys, so i am sure that i should cook it. P.S. my parents LOVE any kind of food..besides sushi.

- Greek Shrimp Salad (not too much)
- Old-Fashioned Chicken Noodle Soup (parents love soup)
-Dark Chocolate Mousse

*do you think this is good for a daughter cooking dinner for her parents anniversary?*

Your dinner sounds lovely and I am sure your parents will love it ! As a mom, I can tell you, not only will they love the meal, but they will appreciate your THOUGHTFULNESS for making them dinner on their anniversary, and incorporating THEIR preferences. (you said the LOVE soup)

The other day, my son made me peanut butter toast, with no prompting from me, and I was delighted. Most parents appreciate ALL act of kindness and thoughtfulness from their children.

If you're making soup as the main course, maybe a loaf of fresh baked bread would be a nice addition. I don't know how old you are, but you can find frozen loaves in the supermarket, and all you need to do is let is rise, and then bake it. Fairly simple.
Just a suggestion. Good luck and have fun, and don't forget to clean up after! =)

I would eat all of eat in a heart beat! But you might want an entree type dish to go with it all, something a little more substantial. Maybe a grilled pork loin or a steak?

If these are your parents favorites go for it! I would only suggest that you have bread or crackers for them.

Have a wonderful dinner!
