Romans 6:1,2
1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
James 2:14-18
14What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
18But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds."
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.
Faith goes hand in hand with works. No works don't save you, but they are the proof of your faith and that you are saved. If someone says that have faith, but their actions are contrary to what they say, what proof is there?
Romans 10 says if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord... The greek there is master, which means that you are going to serve Him, not do what you want to do.

If you truly love the Lord, you won't have the desire to continuously take advantage of His grace. Jesus looks at your heart...if you are just repeating words of faith as a "get out of hell" ticket, that is not showing that you genuiniely love the Lord. If you have faith and believe that Jesus is your savior, you will (or should) have a genuine desire to try to live your life the way Jesus would want you to. As humans we sin by nature, but as Christians, we are striving to conform to the image of Christ, to become more like Him. You therefore, must repent of your sins, and try to remove sin from your life. Even if you fall, a true Christian would never live a deliberately sinful lifestyle.

My faith in Jesus is not about wether I'm being forgiven or not it's about having enough faith to live a life like he did, full of love and compassion, promoting peace instead of war. Even if it comes to it, which I hope it never does being able to die for my faith rather than feeling I should kill for it. That takes true faith.

The difference is that if you are truly saved you would have no desire to intentionally sin. Also you are supposed to be setting an example to the unsaved of what Gods love is, and although being saved gets you into heaven there are rewards stored for us in heaven based on the lives that we live here. Not to mention why would anyone in their right mind want to screw up their life here by adding sorrow to it. Isn't there enough already?

You have to line word with word and precept with precept. You can't just say that you will be saved by faith alone. Faith without works are dead. So if you don't practice good works then your faith is dead. If you think that you are free to sin whether it is premeditated or not then you are mistaken. Please search the scripture with understanding that the Lord will give to you once you pray for understanding. Along with your faith God will forgive you once you have truly repented of your sins such as rape, murder, stealing etc. Also you will need to take on the name of Jesus and to receive the precious gift of the Holyghost. It's good to have enough faith to know that with God's help you can overcome your sins but it is all left up to you. Here is some scriptures that you may want to examine and then examine yourself. May God give you the understanding of his word.
Habakkuk chp 2:1 I will stand at my watch and station myself on rhe ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaints.
Habakkuk chp 2:4 "See, he is puffed up; hid desires is not upright- but the rightous will Live by his faith-
Habakkuk 2:5 indeed, wine betrays him; he is arrogant and never at rest.
Habakkuk 2:6 Will not all of them taunt him with ridicule and scorn, saying,
"Woe to him who piles up stolen goods and make himself wealthy by extortion! How long must this go on?"
Habakkuk 2:8 Because you have plundered many nations, the people that is left will plunder you. For you have shed man's blood; you have destroyed lands and cities everywhere in them.
Habakkuk 2:12 Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed and establishes a town by crime!
Habakuk 2:15 Woe to him who gives drink to to his neighbors, pouring it from the wineskin till they are drunk, so that he can gaze on their naked bodies.
Habakkuk 2:16 You will be filled with shame instead of glory.
Now it is your turn! Drink and be exposed! The cup from the Lord's right hand is coming around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory.
You are coming to your own understanding of faith. Please pray that God will direct your path.

You are wrong when you say faith alone will save you. Faith and good work combined are what saves. If faith along saved people, heaven would be filled with believers who did evil things while they were alive.

The bible says, "You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that - and shudder." James 2:19
You know they are not saved.
Many will be surprised to find they were not really saved...
Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord' will will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." Matthew 7:21
It is not a matter of saying a simple prayer and being saved. You must repent (turn from your sins), accept Jesus as Lord of your life and follow him daily. If you REALLY believe and trust in Him, your life will show it by your actions. If Jesus is REALLY Lord of your life, you will not be raping, stealing etc.
The bible teaches us to test ourselves to see if we are in the faith... Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you - unless, of course, you fail the test? 2 Corinthians 13:5
Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us. 1 John 3:24
Suggested reading: Romans chapter 6

I think this is a good question.
I am not a Christian.
I do what I consider right because I have a conscience. It troubles me if I do not respect another person's life and liberty, because I want the same respect from them.
It's as simple as that.

Actions speak louder than words, my friend.
How are you loving your neighbor if you are, raping, stealing from, or murdering him/her? THAT is the greatest commandment, and you are throwing it out the window because YOU feel that YOU are saved. Sorry, buddy. It doesn't work that way.

All people will be judged on their works, not their faith. Those who have not accepted God will also be judged on their sins as well as their works.
