Actually, the difficult road is more likely the path that God chooses for His people. It is through various trials that we are sanctified, becoming more like Christ.
We were promised these as a matter of course, rather than a bed of roses. (I Peter 1:6) When we suffer, we are more likely to cling to Him, rather than trusting in ourselves and others.

No i don't think so.
Everybody makes decisions that go Topsy tubby sometimes but that does not make it wrong or out of God's will.
I once had to make a very hard decision pertaining to a minister at my church. He did not speak to me for over a year after that. I knew in my heart that i did the right thing but it was so hard to deal with the aftermath of the whole situation.
Many times i cried to God asking if i deserved to be treated this way and if i had made a mistake. God directed me to Job 40.
It took an accident for him to realize that what i did was the right thing.
He is not angry at me anymore and all the people who stood by him and had me as an outcast, came back to ask for my forgiveness.
All you need to do is pray and believe and if you are in doubt ask God to confirm you decision with a word.
God bless

Not necessarily, it's a good thing that God can see further down the road that I can.. when the outcome of a decision is not what I thought the outcome should be, doesn't mean I made the wrong decision or I am outside of God's will...it is a time where I will really have to trust the Lord and see what happens.

No. I'm not outside of God's will. I know that when you are striving to be a better Christian satan will try harder to make things rough on you. I've had times of weakness when I doubt a decision but I know where that doubt comes from and shake it off and stand strong in the Lord!

Possibly...sometimes God does allow us to experience some hurt or a bad choice so that we rely more on him and in turn become closer to him...Most likely, you were not listening to what God was saying, but what your subconscious self was saying ..so all you do is pray, pick up the pieces, and move on and just be a little more careful about the next decision you make...Pray for the Lord to show you what went wrong, or ask him to show you what you were supposed to learn from the decision...maybe it was his will because there is a lesson to be learned...be open to any possibilities and just pray for him to show you whatever he wants you to see.

Christians are not perfect...if there is any perfection it is God that is....A lot of times we feel we are not in Gods will...we like sheep often go astray. But we have a God Shepard that loves his sheep and sometimes we are bitten at the heels by a sheep dog and are cautioned to get back with the herd. All things God said work for the good of those that love him and are called according to his purpose. Consider a sheep, they are guided...very venerable to the elements of life. If it had not been for Jesus...what would we do?

the only thing i can say to this is on my own behalf.
there are times i decided to do something and knew it was the wrong choice.consequences are hell to pay.
and then again i have made right decisions and in those right came a hard time, some harder than others. even though the devil made things seem hopeless, God always gave me answers, and direction through those tough times.
i hope this has helped you. God bless<><

Job is the best example that just because someone has everything collapsing doesn't mean they are out of God's will.
Sin can bring problems.Rebelling or getting out of God's will can certainly bring problems.I have faced many trials, tribulations, and setbacks in life.God promises He will never leave us (christians) or forsake us.He is our advocate with the Father and He is always interceding for us.
God Bless,

Truthfully it could be (and has) been either way. Sometimes I have had to get back on the right path and others I simply had to endure until the situation played itself out.
Many times I do not know the reasoning of things until I have the benefit of hindsight.

Blessed is he whom GOD correcteth. Since we are bound to live from memory we are guided to the right path by our experiences in a dualistic reality. How could you recognize pleasure if you've never experienced pain? Life is not supposed to be easy it is supposed to be profound.
Gautama Siddhartha born into royalty never even knew that poverty existed until he met a pauper when he was 21 yrs. old. That was profound enough for him to leave his silky life journey into the wilderness and form the detachment eastern religion known as Buddhism. At the end of it all on his death bed he concluded to his most loyal friend and disciple.(All things organic decay; seek out your own salvation with diligence.) I suppose that there may be a destination out there somewhere. Though that would negate the concept of eternity. Don't miss the pleasure of the journey for some dogmatic hope of something unknown or unknowable. You must embrace death before you can live. Your body is dying and recreating every second of every day. So learn from your mistakes find something to believe in and embrace the journey. May GOD bless you and yours in all that you do.
