No ...here we cant have two birds with a stone.
"Jahan Kaam vahan Ram nahin....jahan Ram nahin Kaam"
SIN... in my view.. there is nothing like Sin in the world. What we percieve as sin is either disease, prejudice or misunderstanding.
The matrix of energies called universe is made up of two polarities... positive and negative energies. Both are working to establish each one's supermacy on the other...or annihilate other.... .and thus the Cosmos is working.
There can't be only Positive or only Negative energies... so we cant say Positive are Good or virutue.. and negative are bad or Sins
So sometimes.. when the negativity rises too much...that causes the divinity to come down and arrange its annihilation and merging into god.
Till now NO Bhakta could force God to come down !!!
It was height of Negativity be it Ravana, kansa, Hiranyakashyap.... they forced divinity to come down and give them Moksha.
The negavitiy we see around in the name of religion etc.. is just a struggling of the humanity to reach the truth
Like a little child starts to walk...he stumbles and falls and starts again... so humanity is now in infant stage...and is trying to find truth. Small incidents of violence, hatered and murders...are nothing in the eyes of the Excellence !!!...these are all stumblings.
I foresee...in distant future..the harmony coming and all living by the rule of the divinity..rather than living by the rule of the books
Amen....Insha-allaha..
AUM

All the paths lead to the God .The path of sins too lead to the God because the sinner after commiting so many sins will definetly realise one day that he is doing wrong because his inner consious will be telling him that this is a sin and he would not have listened to it. A point will come where he drops everthing instantly and learns the reality faster than a person who has practiced religion all his life . The person who has seen the whole of the hell can only know the bliss of heaven.Egs . Angulimala who realised thru Buddha. And many more in our puranas

First of all let us understand what we mean by sin?
Sin what we call is relative. It is not absolute.
Like somebody may be 100% convienced what he is doing is right but it may look wrong for others. e.g. when a child asks for ice cream during winter and mother says no that. Child thinks mother is sinner.
What you declare some thing as sin in india is not a sin in other part of the world. e.g being vegetarian
What we think sin at one time may not be sin at some other time. e.g. a girl talking to unknown boy when she is young but when she becomes old the act is not a sin
The same action is called sin one person does and it is called good act when someother person does. e.g. Act of killing by terrorist and act of killing by soldier.
Hence Sin is purely relative. Divinity is absolute. From absolute point of view, there is no difference between sin and good action.
Hence both good action or bad action can not lead to God. Because God is not something away from from you. As per Ramathirtha "path to God" is meaningless. When we say there is a path to God... we are looking for God outside. How can there be a path once we understand that the god is within us.
That is why in sciptures they have used correct term GOD REALISATION.
But to realise god we should follow karma yoga, bakthi yoga and Gnana yoga in right sense. Apart from this there is no fourth route.

Yes definitely, coz a sin committed makes one realise the what is wrong n right, that is only if one WANTS to realise it n not repeat it again. It makes one undergo rigorous self analysis, which exercises the conscience n develops it. n indeed the conscience is the voice of the Lord. We can hear His voice then. Who doesn't make mistakes, but the one who corrects himself by shedding some tears in front of the Lord, sheds the negetivity of the mistake, thereby clearing off obstacles in his path towards spiritualism and God's experience.
Aradhana, i just loveee yr questions!!

Aathma(Jeeva) never commits a sin. It is only Karma Saakshi(witness of actions). It is the Prakruthi(Body and Mind –both subtle and gross) only commits the sins. It superimposes the Aathman. Till all the sins (Karma) is wiped out –the Soul will be repeatedly entering into other bodies-just as you put soap on your cloth twice or thrice to remove the dirt completely-“Punarapi Jananam,Punarapi Maranam,Punarabi Janani Jataray Sayanam(Sri,Shankara Acharya)Only after all the sin thus completely wiped out in a few births, Aathman is ready to identify itself with Brahmam(Parama Aathman)-Mukthi or Moksham-.read the verse in Bhagavad geetha ”Vassamsi Jeernaani yadha Vihaaya”(I have given the Adwaitha view-Dwaitha and Visista Adwaitha views slightly differ on last few sentences)

Sin, realisation by himself, pray GOD and moksha are easy to understand (Arunagirinathar etc.). God some cases made the person to realise by some act, in the case of Thirumangai Alwar.
All by himself and every thing is his "Alakila Vilayattu" ( His Act).
According to Hindu mythology, after a curse to be born in the world, the gate keepers of Vaikundam took the choice to be sinners for 3 lives than 100 lives as noble. (Ravana, Sishubala and Kamsa with a counterpart in Ramayana, Mahabharatha and Bhagavatham respectively).

Maybe a tough question for you, but easy for me. The path of sins is a path that leads to perdition (Hell), NOT to God. Proverbs 4:18,19 "But the path of the just [is] as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked [is] as darkness: they know not at what they stumble."

The ways to reach God, if He (She) exists (which I believe He does) should automatically be beyond human comprehension and infinite. It may not be His preferred modus operandi, but it could be a way. One of His attributes is to be the Most-Merciful (in any school of thought). Who know who He will bestow His mercy on and why? But it is not for humans to challenge His infinite wisdom and authority to grant such favors (that submission to His will makes one a believer...in any faith other than agnosticism).

Good question Aaradhana, Missed your answers for some questions i stared for. :) Sure sin will lead a path to god, if that person relised the mistake, they will try to change and when try to make a peace in them, they will go in search of god and try to reach god.
If they didn;t relise, they will be in the path of their karmas.
Sorry for late answer.. follows..
Sin, in my view, it's something which we learn through it. God is making us understand what to do and not do. We might know what to do and not to. Sometimes it will be out of hand, that's we are making sin. By this way, he is giving a chance for us to make us understand from our heart and not to repeat.
When we feel guilty, we will try not to do it again. But if still we do it again, and again we will feel guilty. When this happens, we pray god and make us free from all these sins which we do to others and we learn it through. So we start to pray and god guide us. When our heart and our mind gets peace, we try to search god in us. Thus how sin leads us to god.
If we didn;t feel guity, Then you increase your punishment which is karma here. But still god will not leave us untill what god wants from us. Even increasing in karma also might lead to the search of god, just like that of sin leads to path to god.
I hope i wrote to your expectation, But if i miss something here or wrong. Do let me know, So i can also learn. :)

No. You can't follow the ways of the world and follow God.
Matthew 18
7"Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come! 8If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. 9And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.
