My cousin has recently started to secretly date a 14 year old boy I found out as i saw them kissing in my local shop but do you think the age gap is too much?

twelve year old shouldn't be dating is right but that age diffrence isn't anything compared to what alot of twelve year old girls are doing now, i think comparing age and mentality now are very diffrent because your cousin maybe into the maturity seen rather than an age diffrence. Its not horrible but it's something to be concerned about

It isn't the age gap that is the problem it is her age. She is too young to be dating. Teens shouldn't even date until 15 or 16.

not really, it is alittle weird to think about because you usually wait til your are about 13 or 14 to start "dating", not when u are 12. But people in their 30s date ppl in their 20s and thats an even bigger age gap.

There's nothing wrong with this. Love has no boundaries;only complications. But if you know it'll be alright, then he should feel the same way, too. Personally, I'm a 17-year-old guy who loves this 12-year-old girl, and I was afraid it wasn't right. But I was told to "follow my heart", (I know, it's corny), so that's my advice to you. If you love him, and he loves you then all is right in the world. Follow your heart.

I think its alrite my mom is 3 years older than my dad. And plus when it comes to love ages are just numbers! Of course a 12 year old with an 19 yeard old than thats just being a Pedophile!
