yesterday i found two pot plants in my yard and i asked my sister in law about it and she planted them there. she doesnt even live with me....i destroyed them what do i do?

Tell her to keep off your yard and to go garden in her own yard, that's very rude and inconsiderate of her she could get you and your family in some big trouble! I bet she would have not gone to the police station and said the plants where hers if you got in trouble for them!

When you say you destroyed them, what did you do?
Did you put them in the trash, or what?
If you stil have them you can call the police, explain the situation and have them take the plants.
It is a crime to cultivate marijuana, so they will ask you how the plants got in your yard.
I would also have a serious talk with your husband about the risk your sister in law put you in by growing pot in your yard.

I can't believe the paranoia out there. If you have destroyed them then its end of story. Its only the buds that are used for 'drugs' and the plants themselves have very very little THC (the active ingredient). Worrying about 'traces' is ridiculous. I don't think that the police would even be interested.

would tell the police however if they are in your yard then they are your possession be real careful what you say and how you say it. If they tell you what to do or if they come and get the plants then you will never have to worry about it again and if you don't tell the police and they find them during an investigation or anything then you will be in serious trouble.

Sister or not. Tell the police. Odds are , there are still traces in your yard. You could be arrested for possession and assisting a criminal.
