This is the only way to get 2 ohm with a 1 ohm DVC sub - http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/sparky3489/SERIES-DUAL.jpg

You cannot get 2 ohm from a dual 2 ohm DVC.

get the 2 ohm, the one ohm sucks up too much power, wiring the 1 ohm in parallel will be a 0.5 ohm load, there are very few amps that can work in less than one ohm load, and wiring in series wont be all that great because it becomes a loss, in series the two 1 ohm coils will be as if you had the two 2 ohm in parallel, get the 2 ohm that will be a 1 ohm load in parallel and 4 in series, if your amp doesnt support 1 ohm get the 1 ohm and wire them in series

If you're using a single subwoofer, you'll need a double 1-ohm to get a 2-ohm load.

If you have two subs, then you'll need double 2-ohm subs to end up with a 2-ohm load.
