The guys who are dying are dying to make the world a better place. Ask their families. They are not accomplishing this political goal, however, because of gross strategic inadequacies. You can be cynical (or realistic) about the reasons that the administration sent them. I'm pretty sure they were sent because it seemed like a good idea at the time, without a very good look at all of the analysis that suggested that it was a horrible idea.
We are responsible for putting these people in power. We elected these people who use such poor judgement. Twice.

They are dying because the chimp has a chip on his shoulder against Bin Laden and whoever else tried to kill his daddy. Personally, I think it is a shame that they missed their target! I am so sick of the Bush family and their policies I could just vomit. We, as upstanding and voting members of our society have demanded that our government bring our sons and daughters home from an unwinnable war. All the chimp says is that we must "stay the course". For who, for what? Get 'em home and today is a good day to start!

Here is the Bush Administration's strategy:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Jq0j80UB_c&eurl=
We toppled a government we had no business intervening in (see Iran/Shah; Marcos/Phillipines); and now are left with a big mess we are unable to clean up.
And all Bush states his strategy is "Stay the Course."

Ask an Iraqi child suffering a life from no education and no future except becoming a suicide bomber or an Iraqi woman who was in bondage in a primitive way of life not even being allowed to vote. Ask the many Iraqi men who would like to see peace in their lifetime.
Then Ask the US soldier who courageously trained for many grueling Months/years, deployed having to say goodbye to their wives-children-parents-family realizing they may never see them again. Ask the brave and few who take no thought for their own life, to secure your selfish way of life.
These soldiers realize if we don't take the fight to the Insurgents, It will come to us! Please be respectful of the Troops and our Commander in Chief and ask questions responsibly.

Poor or falsified intelligence, poor planning and poor execution. Not by the troops in the field mind you. They're merely doomed to suffer for the failings of our commander in chief.

Remember? They are introducing those poor folks from Iraq to Democracy so they too can be like Americans.
Heck, they even have the right to bear arms and elections and corruption. They're catching on real quick, wouldn't you say?

Bush has no chest hair.
They are dying for nothing now. There will be no gain, no victory.
