1) Do you believe god has a physical form? If yes, what race/colour do you perceive him to be?
2) If you answered 'no' to the previous question (that god does not have a physical form, but is a 'spirit'), then how do you know that the god of another religion (eg, Islam, Hindu, Jew etc.) is not the same? Couldn't they also be talking about the same god, but just given him a different name? How can you say that if a person does not believe in Christ, they won't go to heaven?
3) Why is god always a man? Can't a woman be god? Because if you refer to god as 'him' 'he' 'his' etc, and that Christ was his son, then doesn't that mean he has a physical form? Thus going back to Q1.

To the people who answered that Christ was the physical form of god, if thats the case then how he be his own son?
Also if he is the only god, then why is it not possible that people from other religions are worshipping the SAME god?
You say that there is only one god, but you also worship Christ, the holy spirit and God. Are these three the same thing? If so,then how can Christ be god's son?

1) The Christian view of God is trinitarian in nature. God is one in three persons. Only one of the persons has a physical form. This is Jesus Christ. He is God in the flesh. "Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory." (I Timothy 3:16) As to race, He was born in Israel, so He would have the appearance of the typical middle eastern male.
The Father and the Holy Spirit are in a spiritual form. "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." (John 4:24)
2) There are many so called "gods" besides the one in the Bible, however, they are not the same as the God of the Bible. This is what the God of the Bible says about that: "I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me..." (Isaiah 45:5) You can look to the various other religions, and you will see that they are not the same. Even Islam, although they attempt to perpetuate the myth that Allah is the same as Yahweh.
3) As to God being a man, He always referred to Himself in the masculine. "A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me? If I am a master, where is the respect due me?" says the Lord Almighty." (Malachi 1:6) Further, Jesus as God, came as a male. "He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, 'I am the Son of God.'" (Matthew 27:43)
UPDATE: I would be happy to attempt to explain the concept of the Trinity, but this is already a long post. I will provide you with a link to another answer I gave about the Trinitarian nature of God, which will demonstrate how the three are one.

My answers:
1. No. God is in spirit form.
2. I do not want to question another's belief. Maybe u have a point that we are worshipping the same God with a different name. Its not true that if a person do not believe in Christ he wont go to heaven. Infact, even a pagan can go to heaven when he died without knowing God because god will judge him by his good heart and good deeds. A person who has known the law and has known God but kept on repeating his sins has no chance of going to heaven. There is no forgiveness and salvation. for persons who are playing with the law of God.
3. You cant question God. And for ur info we are all gods. But there is only one almighty God who is the Father. And Christ is also God in Unity of God the Father.Christ took the physical form when he was sent to save us from sins. Although he was God he did NOT question God the Father when he was sent to redempt us sinners. Better for us to just believe and be obedient to the commandments of the new testament.

1 - definately NO
2 - they may believe in the same God, but give him different names, but not believe in the Trinity - which includes Christ and the holy Spirit too besides God, and these 3 are all God - this is one of the mysteries we have to believe, and they do not believe it.
3 - God was given a sex because at the time when the bible was written, the male figure signifies power as the male was the dominant of the two sexes - so it is just a cultural question. over the time, this thing stayed. but God is neither a woman, nor a man. man needs to identify with the deity he respects and fears, as man must humanise everything he comes in contact with so that he could try to begin and understand that thing. in the same way, man 'humanised' God to try and understand this phenomenon.

God is a creator of all things. Because man sin against God , Jesus has to come in flesh so we can understand God and to save us by dying on the cross for our sins. I cannot say for other religion but I want to say this our God is true and living God and empty grave is what you see. Ressurection of JesusChrist on the 3rd day was the victory over death. There are many things beyond our comprehension and we call it miracle. Change water into wine ,how is this possible . It is beyond our understanding. So many things we do not understand. I cannot understand how the Pyramids are errected in the desert too. I hope I did not confuse you because you ask a good questions wanting to know the true God or Gods.

1) The Bible teaches that God is one essence, but three persons. The Father God has no form. He predates the earth, having created it, so the triune God can have no race or ethnicity of any country.
2) No other religion has revealed God to be three persons in one essence. They say there is only one person, or many persons, or they are immanent, etc. etc. They are not all worshiping the same God, for their descriptions of God are all different. If you describe your father and it is different from as description of my father, then we don't have the same father.
3) God is a man because that is how he chooses to reveal himself. By calling himself Father and us children of God, he is inviting us into a relationship where he leads us and takes care of us. We have earthly fathers and their children as analogies to help us understand this dynamic, and the Bible to practice it ourselves. Christ was God's son, not from offspring, but by way of relationship. He acts as a devoted son to a loving Father.
Your questions were very good. I hope these answers clear the air.

God took a physical form as Jesus. God is shown as a man probably because of Jesus, and because mankind was "run" by egocentric men who felt they were superior to women. As a Christian, one can say that following Jesus is the sure way. But, since we know that God had a covenant with the Jews, we do know that others can have a genuine relationship with God. Jesus told us that if we know Him, we will also know the Father. Abraham did not know Jesus, but he did know the Father. As for it being one and the same God, the God of Abraham IS the same God.

I think God is a spiritual being. Also I think that it probably is the same God just given different names. Most of the religions I've studied are very similar.
Ithink God is refered to as a man because that's just how he has always been portrayed, females used to be the lesser people in society. I think it's sily to think God actually has a gender.

1) God is an eternal being of a different essence than we are. He is not a physical being. However, he chose to insert himself into our history as a man. He was whatever color Jewish men were in his day.
2) I know that the Christian God is not the same as any polytheistic Gods because he is the only God. There's not room for any others. That eliminates all religions except Islam and Judaism. He's not the same as the Muslim God because the Christian God appeared on earth as Jesus and the Muslims deny that Jesus was God. By doing that they're denying that Allah is the same as God. The Christian God is the same as the Jewish God.
3) Because God is an infinite being, we cannot "discover" him. He has to reveal himself to us. When he did so, he described himself using male pronouns. On the other hand he often uses female imagery to describe himself, and when describing how he created humans he said they were created in the image of God, male and female. So God doesn't really have gender, but he chooses to have us refer to him as "him".

If God were a woman, wouldn't she have chosen a man to impregnate her if she wanted a son rather than use another woman? Revelations describes a man form sitting on a throne with white hair like wool. This makes me think that God may have very curly-kinky hair and may be either white, black or indian...I like to imagine it's like being on the phone however. You can talk to someone for hours and not know or care what race they are as long as communication is clear. I look forward to finding out but it doesn't matter to me what race HE is.
