Rest assured, If it were not for the mercies of our Lord satan would have things much worse than they are now. In the end there will be tribulation such as never has been, nor will ever be. If you are not one of His elect you will probably be deceived, Matthew 24:21-24.

Anyone who said this is the BEST the world has ever been is blind to many things in this CURRENT world like the following:
1. abortions are at all time high.
2. China is killing baby girls off at a good clip.
3. Africa is in tremendous upheaval, illness, and poverty.
4. Every nation outside of Japan, USA, UK, Europe, etc. has great areas of unemployment and poverty and uneducated people.
5. Weapons of destruction now are the most powerful of all time, and are still being produced.
6. People are damaging the environment at a record pace, depending on where in the world you are talking.
7. The Western life style is not supportable for more than a few decades--the way it is now.
It certainly can get worse, and the stage is set for this to happen before Jesus returns.

This is the beginning pains of labor.
More illegal immigrants being allowed over for more drug smuggling, free health care, paying no taxes, and taking the money back to Mexico. This spells economic troubles without any recovery.
NAPTHA passed, so now all factories have moved over seas. No new money to rebuild destruction from this lack of factories.
This spells trouble.
We all know that money isn't coming in, its going out.
Then they sell our coal to China, watch for trains going thru your town, or next town over. You'll see the coal, and that could have been used to power our electric plants, and also made into gasoline, but environmentalist cry that it pollutes.
This spells trouble.
It hasn't hit us yet, but it will, probably starting this winter.
We should become equipped to handle this by changing our way of thinking. Most feel that the gov. will take care of all these matters, look, they aren't doing a bit of good right now. Why would they care if your hungry, tired, can't pay your bills any longer? They could careless right now, they have little concern about tomorrow, and no concern about you.
You know what needs to be done, other than that, it won't be stopped.

It all depends on which end of the shovel you end up on?
Ezk 39:11-13,15
THE nations of this twentieth century do not know who “Gog of the land of Magog” is—not yet. They do not expect to be brought under his control and be led to their destruction. Even to the nations of Christendom that have the Holy Bible, just who Gog is has long been obscure, also where his land of Magog is. This is true also of the natural, circumcised Jews, who expect Gog’s attack to be made upon them sometime in the indefinite future. The very last book listed in the inspired Christian Scriptures makes use of the names of Gog and Magog and foretells an attack under devilish supernatural influence—but a thousand years from now. (Revelation 20:7, 8) However, who the Gog is with whom we today are vitally concerned becomes free from obscurity as we consider what the whole Bible, from Genesis to Revelation (Apocalypse), has to say about his role within our generation.
It would be wise to find out more for about Gog's role in our generatioin?

There's no such phrase as End Times in all the Bible. There is the phrase Time Of The End in Daniel; Which refers to "Christ: is the end of the law"(sin IMPutation and death).
As for "the last days(plural)", that was 0-->2000AD,
and it's now 2007AD, already the "last day(singular)";
A shewdown of "the day of the LORD" vs "the day of God".
Hint: the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light: Amos.
Hint: we should be looking for, hasting unto, the day of God.
Bottom line: look for, and haste unto, Grace void of law law.

http://www.godshew.org/GraceRun.htm
http://www.godshew.org/NoLawNoDeadEnd.htm
http://www.godshew.org/RevelatorySermons19.htm
Grace neither tempts(laws) nor can be tempted(lawed).
Grace cannot lie(law) nor die(law). Law Law does both.
So if ppl would stop law imputing sin for the hell of it, all the awful lawful hellish crap, even death, would cease & vanish.
Hint: watch the 1998 Merlin TV Movie,
where the real magic is at THE END.
The End is declared from the beginning:
http://www.godshew.org/Allegory2.htm
The End is already Pauline written in 15 Epistles:

http://www.godshew.org/Paul.htm#Format
http://www.godshew.org/Revelation.htm#Author
http://www.godshew.org/RevelatorySermons13.htm
To both the IMPotent Man (John 5), and
the ADULTery Woman (John 8), it's said:
"SIN(Law) NO MORE"! with a Reason:
Lest a "worse" thing happen unto you.
Worse: more the CHILD of hell(law): Matthew 23
SEVEN other SPIRITS more wicked: Mt 12-->Rev
http://www.godshew.org/Revelations9.htm
http://www.godshew.org/Allegory3.htm
http://www.godshew.org/Law.htm
As for Worst of worst<-worse<-bad, it's not in the NT.
For Christ's sake ppl, it's 2007AD-->only goes one way;
to the grace us end already declared and already written:
The GRACE(ONLY) of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

To see how much worse it will get, read Revelation 6, 8, 9, 13, 16, 18.

Everybody thinks their time is the worst. Read some history of the French Revolution, the Middle Ages, etc. and you'll see that although life is truly awful in many ways, in others, we have it better than ever. There are things we can do, which is different for most of the history of the world.
Instead of waiting for Jesus to come back and fix everything, lets see what we can do right now to make the world a better place.

Yes. This is the information age and expanding knowledge; but mental and spiritual darkness is greater then at any time in human history. The blind following the blind into a ditch is. as they say, just a question of when.

Actually, this is the best the world has ever been.
Can you think of a time you'd rather be alive?
Living standards around the world are generally higher than they've ever been.
There are estimates that the world's population will ALL be well fed within twenty years, with an end to mass poverty.
There are less international conflicts than ever before.
The internet is bringing us together as a global village, and sattelite technology has warned us of environment issues that must, and will, be addressed.
In most countries, the incidence of violent crime actually falling.
He now live longer, healthier lives.
The world continues to become a better place.

The end times refers to life as we know it, not the annihilation of the planet. When we face the soon-to-be end of cheap fossil fuels and everything that implies for the privileged middle-class lifestyle as we know it, end times will make sense big time. Consider that things like fertilizers and insecticides are made from fossil fuels. Add to that the the convergences of growing multitudes which were enabled by the green revolution, our trashed planet and the civil unrest, i.e., caused by unprecedented mass migrations and competition for non-renewable resources, rise in number of both epidemic and resistant diseases that can paralyze social and economic systems, interrupt global trade, and bring down governments; depletion of fisheries, effects of deforestation on earth's ability to renew the air; pollution of and divergence for industrial purposes of major water supplies in addition to rapid dwindling and irreplaceability of aquifers; acidification/alkalinization of soil; nuclear proliferation at an unprecedented scale. Humanity faces unprecedented challenges to life as usual, especially the middle class and their assumptions of entitlement. Of course, for some people on planet earth, life could not be worse. Being dead is better than facing what they face daily. For the rest of us, converging catastrophes are inevitable for the generations now living without facing and making some drastic behavioral changes.
