If you use XP, right-click on My Computer > Manage > Disk Management.

If you only have one big partition, back up all personal data from your PC (copy to CD / DVD / external hard drive) and do a Windows "Clean Install" (for instructions go to: (www.theeldergeek.com). Change the C: partition size during the install.

Then, repeat the first procedure to crate more partitions.

If you are running XP why don't you use Disk management to build a partition? It is already installed on your computer...
