There should be no effect at all. Aluminum forms a protective layer of oxide on its surface, called a passivation layer. Unlike iron oxide (red rust), aluminum oxide is not porous and doesn't flake off. This means the aluminum inside stays protected.

It will get wet for about an hour a day. There may be some mineral deposits on the surface of the bowl, but lithium is correct, it will not corrode unless the water is too basic or too acidic.
