No you do not have to make entry in the U.S. within the first six month. Whenever you plan to travel into the U.S. then you can use it.

NO, you do not have to visit at any time at all. The visa is nothing more than an invitation to visit. You can use it to apply for admission to the U.S. any time you want to, as long as you use it before it has expired. It only has to be valid on the day of your entry. The length of stay will depend on your classification at entry. For a B-2, the period of admission is six months. For a B-1, it is time necessary not to exceed six months. We hope to see you soon!
