I'm 17, female and my bf nd I want to start to get intimate. We've been going out for a year nd a half but I'm deathly afraid of getting pregnant. As much as he says everything will be ok, I doubt it sometimes. We will use protection, but I think I'm too young..... Am I???!!??

well i would say just to use condoms yes you are to young
as i was very afraid to and i think you should only do it if your READY and if you feel ready THAN please use more than condoms take the pill at the same time (some places do give it free) or take the free injection you can have (you take it once ant it works like a pill 99.99% eaffective )BUT if you can't find any than try and buy some as even now being 20 getting someone pregnant scars me as I'm not ready for that responsibly AND nether are you being 17 i think
so if you don't want to do it with him and he can't respect that then leave him as its his loss
BUT if you do decide to do it with him take the pill at the same time as although condoms do work its not 100% full pro so the pill / injection will add that little extra security for you as you will then know you are
99.99% unlikely to get pregnat

Yes, you are much too young. Wait until college to start doing things like that. Really, you should wait until you are with a guy you completely trust. No birth control is one hundred percent effective. The closest would be the shot that you get every few months, but it causes awful side effects!

if you think you are too young (and you've just said you are), then you are too young. why not wait. talk about birth control first. talk to your doctor about the pill or other safe forms of birth control so that when the time comes for you and your bf, you won't have to worry about pregnancy and it will be a much better experience. whatever you do, do not go through with it unless YOU BOTH feel you are ready, not just him.

Everybody is different. You have to ask yourself if your ready for this and the responsibilities that come with....
Remember that there's always a chance that you COULD get pregnant, even if you use condoms and the pill. The only way to prevent pregnancy is with abstinence.

sweetie i think if ur not married dont do it
its gonna be a living hell with a kid and those 9 months u still to young enjoy ur life while u can? tell maybe later in the future, but now u have enough burduns in life
