no....only glow in the dark tattoo's are bad for you.the uv light inks(black light) have a msds sheet and is fda approved by the government.these inks have been tested on tracking wildlife for almost a decade.

As far as I know they are no different from an openly visible tattoo. You might scare yourself at night if you saw it in the dark of a room though and had forgotten it was there.
