Just curious because I tend to feel if people can't be bothered asking the question properly I won't be bothered answering it.

waashaa I can normally tell where English is a second language and I understand that. It's the lazy people who's first language is English that annoy me.

To waashaa: From the structure of his sentence, one can usually tell if the questioner is foreign . It is native English speakers that try my patience.

I agree with you but I also realize that illiteracy in the US is tragic. There's no excuse for poor spelling especially when there's a spell check on Yahoo answers. We also have a lot of foreigners where English is not a first language.
Have you ever noticed that many questions written poorly or incomplete have had answers denouncing their English skills? There are those who excel in math and science but cannot write a sentence? I answer a question due to its needs not to its English inadequacies.

yes i do ...cause many people are foreigners ....and their english writing skill is not good we are here to help everyone .istead ignore them that thier english is not good or they are making mistakes ..i may have also made mistakes in replying to you .as english is not my national language .so dont ignore them help them thats why they come here and youalso come here to help or learn or discover..
