None of us are perfect.I will tell you what sins I have given up and this was before I became a christian and when I did I have never gone back to them and never will. The bible says that it would be like a dog going back to its own vomit. I have given up drinking and getting drunk, I do not drink anymore, I have given up going to pubs and clubs, I have given up my fraud, I have given up dilibreatly bounceing checks, I have given up shoplifting, I have given up drugs, being phsically abusive to people when they were rude to me, I have learnt to forgive. I have lernt the importance of thithing. But I still sometimes swear which I take to God when I do. I still battle putting marks all over my body as I have a mental illness which I am on antidepresants for, and I have to stop Judging people. I know God is working on me with these things. So Christians what sins do you do, and do you take it to God after, and do you turn from the sins?

Because remember Heaven is no easy road, and the bible says without Holiness nobody will see the Lord. Faith without works is dead. Easy is the road to hell, and narrow is hte way to Heaven and remember only a few people enter into the eternal city of God. It is stagering that if the book of life was to be closed on everybdody today, over 90% will end up in hell, and that is disterbing.

Good for you, I'm glad to see an honest question on this site.I want to give you praise for going to Jesus with your problems and handing them over to the Almighty One. What do I struggle with, wow where do I start. First let me tell you what I have given up(which I'm glad I did for my Jesus) I have given up drugs, drinking, having multiple sex partners and sex outside of marriage, cursing(although I do slip up not very often maybe once a year and I feel very guilty for it), Given up worldly music, my family and I only listen to christian music, smoking that is my biggest achievement in the past two years, basically I have given up looking and acting like the world does.I clearly do not read my Bible enough.Ok now for the things I haven't given up but I work on each day with Jesus help. Sometimes when I think people are acting ignorant I get an attitude with them very quickly, I judge others to much which I can not stand when I do that,I watch to much tv, I worry about what people think of me instead of what Jesus wants for me. I'm sure there is many more but don't have the time to go over them all.I am changing each day when I am on my knees talking to Jesus, I let Jesus take the reins(sometimes I'm just to stubborn) and guide me through the day. I will continue to walk by His side and I know that one day when I am in Heaven with Jesus I know then I will be perfect but until that day I can only strive to be like Jesus.

I struggle with the sin of having a bad attitude towards people who come in here and say that ALL Christians are stupid idiots for believing as we do, yet criticize anyone who dares to question their beliefs or lack thereof.

It seems to me rather hypocritical for these people to feel as if they can attack others for not believing as they do, yet they expect the courtesy (of having their beliefs respected)
from the very people they are attacking.

i know, that's how i felt too! but drinking is really bad for your health. but its really good to hear that you given up. and learning to walk in the light of God. keep up with the faith. faith really hard for me to keep on with all these probems coming my way. i know this had nothing to do with sins but, Jesus will forgive your sins as long as you know you had done something wrong and most importantly CONFESS! and pray. i do have sins of lying, but its really hard for me to not do that when i'm in trouble, but i do pray and confess it, and try to speak the truth. (THIS IS NOT A LIE, ITS TRUE TOO!)

You are not God to know it. You have no power to know everything which you think you will know.Give to Caesar what is due for Caesar.
