Does the Bible have a view on extravagant weddings? What does God say about extravagant weddings?

That was not written on the bible. What was written is simple wedding without expenses. Just a wedding to make them as one flesh.

Weddings used to, in bible times, last up to a week! Our parties here start around 7:00 and end before sunrise (usually). But they flat out got down to business back then!

I personally don't see nothing wrong with a huge wedding if you can afford one. Mine was small, 7 people including my beautiful bride and I, but that's cuz we were broke 8 amazing years ago.

There were some pretty extrvagant weddings in the Bible.
In at least one of them, they ran out of wine and Jesus turned water into wine so they'd have enough.

As far as I know, the Bible says nothing one way or the other on this matter.

Jesus attended a weddng in Cana in Galilee - and when the wine ran out he ordered six stone water jars to be filled with water and turned it into wine. Each one held between twenty and thirty gallons. It was acknowledged to be good wine too. Now can we call 180 gallons of wine extravagant? Draw your own conclusions.

The Bible does not speak directly about weddings.
However, it provides general guidelines that can apply in all situations.
One guideline is MODESTY.
Proverbs 11:2 tells us:
"....wisdom is with the modest ones."
Micah 6:8 adds:
" And what is the Lord asking back from you but to exercise justice and to love kindness and to be modest in walking with your God?"

If there is anyting it is only in writing and we cannot believe everything we read.
No-one I know has ever spoken or heard from god so I doubt you will get any answer there.
