Like this poor man in Pakistan:

Wouldn't it make sense to stop with the preaching, already?

Muslims were raping and torturing this man because he did not convert to Islam.
It is the fault of those Muslims.
How anyone could turn around and blame Christian missionaries is beyond me.
Shouldn't people have the right to practice their own religion? Why must radical Muslims be appeased, and be left alone to continue that behaviour?

That man in the story is brave.Braver than a lot of people.Brave enough to stand up for his convictions.

Greetings Friend,

There is only one problem and only one solution. The problem is an identity problem. We believe we are separate from each other and from God. The solution: see the truth. We have never been separated from God.

While I do not claim to be a Christian, I was and I think I can answer a little bit from a Christian perspective, but in addition, I will deviate from the Christian view and provide my non-traditional input.

See, your question assumes that the 'poor man' is a body. If he were a body, then your question may be valid. But, he is not a body. Since he is not a body, can he really be hurt? In addition, one would have to ask: what's more important this man's body or his soul? Should one stop 'preaching' to save a body, or continue 'preaching' in hopes to save a soul?

Like I said, "I do not claim to be a Christian, but that is what makes sense to me."

My friend, I have a 'saving' message, but it will seem like it will cost you everything. It will cost nothing. My message is this: you are free. Who you really are has never been bound. This identities that you think you are, they are not who you really are. They are who you think you are.

What does my message save you from? Suffering. When you discover who you are, your suffering will cease and you be at peace. You are loved.

sending love,

OMG that is one of the most flawed and biased article I've ever read!! Wow, the media has really, really gotten to people! You can tell that this article must have been fabricated or distorted. First of all, raping anyone is against Islam, and comitting sexual acts upon a person of the same gender is also against Islam! And they claim these Pakistanians were doing this because he wouldn't convert? Just trying to "force" him to convert or punishing him because he did not is against Islam, and thats true! This article is very contradictory, and the author is just a racist liar.

That's like saying:
A Catholic priest has just raped a little boy because he could not memorize his prayers.
UMM it is not against Christianity for a man, to rape, a little boy? That is both a homosexual action and a violent one. So such an article should be deemed invalid (because its purpose was to defame Christianity)!

I wouldn't be surprised, that even if this story WAS true, that the men who raped the young man were actually hired non-Muslims serving the purpose of defaming Islam.

The Western Media has caused the west to believe in their point of view, and only giving one side of the story blinds the people viewing: that is almost everybody. The Media has forced its viewers to believe that Islam is a violent, bloody, intolerant religion, but in reality this is actually the opposite. If people would stop accepting their television sets as their teachers, more people would know the actual truth about Islam. The Media reports misleading stories, gross exaggerations, inaccurate information, and false statements about Islams and Muslims to undermine the religion, and unfortunately, this propaganda is a success--many many Americans believe everything they hear on the news or read in the newspaper. What they fail to realize is that what they read/hear is only one point of view of a bias Media that has been criticizing Muslims with false information vigorously since 9/11.

Terrorism is CONDEMNED in Islam; it is not allowed. Neither is innocent murder, or forced conversions. These are all misleading fabrications composed by the Media. You can't always believe what you hear.

Terrorists are not true Muslims; they use Islam as a mask to cover up their dirty work, and give Islam a bad name. It is not fair for the majorit of Muslims, who oppose terrorism and denounce violence that is occuring.

Please refer to the following video. It is very true, and will provide valuable insight; I strongly recommend watching it:

You are assuming the "poor man" had no choice.
He chose to be a Christian. He chose to defend his choice.
He is an adult, with free will. You insult him by assuming he was so mindless that the preaching forced him into his situation.

We all choose what we believe and how committed we are to those beliefs.

I choose NOT to be influenced by preaching. I choose to look at life from a logical perspective. I'm intelligent enough, regardless of what is "preached at me" to make my own decisions about what I believe in. This man had the same freedom of choice.

Some take the notion to go spread the word literal and believe that the only way a person can be happy is to be one of them; they refuse to believe that people have different beliefs. Not all believe that though, my husband doesn't and he grew up in the Church of England and he's happy to let everyone believe what's best for them.

Because this is what is required from followers of Christ. To continue his work while he is gone from here until he returns again. You must have an interest in Christianity for you to have posted a link, meaning you are looking for something better. Right? Open a Bible and read once in a while all the answers you seek about Christianity are in there. I promise.

That makes no sense. I'd rather die because I am a Christian than just exist to live a few years before hell without Him. Poor man nothing! He remained steadfast, faithful to the Lord and did not cave in to Islam. So what, he got gang-raped. His riches are innumerable in heaven when he stands before his Lord. And that poor boy ( as you call it ) knew that so he chose Christ. Amen! This is just one of many samples of what millions will go through when the Church has been raptured and they are left here to go through the Great Tribulation. What that young man endured is a mild case of evil that will run rampant on those left behind.

If they accept Christ and die, they go to heaven; if we do not tell them about Christ and they die, they will go to hell.

According to your link, the person tortured was a Christian, and he was beaten and raped by Muslim men because he would not convert to Islam.

Now who was wrong here, the Christian or the Muslim men? I am not a rocket scientist, but I do get this. There is no mention of a missionary having converted this man to Christianity, it appears that he has been a Christian for some time.

Julius, how can it be self-serving to remove yourself from your comfort zone, go from church to church to raise the funds for your mission trip, go to a foreign country where your own life is endangered, preach the gospel to people who did not invite you, and then be condemned when you win a few to Christ?

It's very simple, they don't care about placing people in danger, just like they don't care that people don't want to be converted.
