Raising a nation from rubble after WWI and making it one of the most powerful countries in the world is no piece of cake. Of course he did do some wrongs but he always wanted his country to be at the top. And lemme tell u, had it not been for some of his corrupt ppl who sold themselves to US intelligence, there wud have been a Cold War between US and Germany.
He rockz.

Hitler's brand of nationalism was on the far right side of the bell curve--even beyond the curve itself. Some level of nationalism is essential for a Nation to exist. The Marshall Plan, which brought Europe back on its economic feet was nationalist in the fact that rebuilding our defeated enemies and our destroyed allies "was the American thing to do." It followed Lincoln's ideas after the Civil War of "Malice toward none; charity for all."
The slogan, "Buy American," is a nationalist expression.
Nationalism, or patriotism, is good, if the expression remains within the central regions of the bell curve. One does not need to advocate destruction or even ill will toward another nation to support one's own.

Adolf Hitler was going to establish what he called The Thousand Year Reich. I think it lasted about 12 years and was lucky to do that with such a madman at the helm.
He was a raving lunatic who caused misery and suffering to millions and that is all he should be remembered for. He was completely wrong in every way.

amercfighter is wrong. Hitler did not attempt to take the Alamo, he led the siege of Miami in 1957. the question itself is wrong, Hitler was not a German dictator, he was the head of the Canadian Empire. It's true he started the fourth world war, but he was also responsible for inventing the 3-D drive in television set, which all of us use today (1985)

I don't think you know how to ask a question. Hitler was not all bad. During his power many new programs were started that definately helped Germany. Nazi Youth Program was one of the best. Took kids out of the city, clothed, fed and took them to mountain camps. Team work and comradrie prevailed. Much like the Boyscouts. A lot of the kids were on the streets-- no parents and starving. He, Disposed of German citizens that drained Government finances to house and feed the infirm.. Germany could not rebuild its economy. Like the USA they were also in a massive depression. . In some ways he was right and others he was wrong.

Are you asking, Was Hitler wrong? Unbelievable question. The answer is Yes, Hitler was wrong, Hitler was evil, Hitler destroyed Germany and almost all of the German people, Hitler was a mass murderer, Hitler was a racist and anti-Semite, Hitler was an ego-driven mad man. And you ask if Hitler was 'wrong'? Shame on you.

Yes. As soon as he started invading other nations, he was in the wrong. While he was voted in, he was being democratic. But taking over Poland, against the wishes of the Polish people, was a big no-no.
And then of course, we have the problem of France, The Netherlands, Norway, and the rest of Europe. Besides murdering 6000 000 Jews. And homosexuals. And Gypsies. And black people.

Hitler lies to his people, told them that everything he was doing was for the good of the German people and the people ate it up. They didn't question their leader just blindly followed and because of that most of them died and the ones that survived went threw hell. Kinda like America today do you have checks and balances or just blindly follow. History is clear those that don't question their leaders becomes slaves to false ideologies.
