yes, 100 calorie packs help people see the correct portion size they should be consuming when they eat, as opposed to when you eat straight from a bag of cookies and usually over-eat because you forget how much you are taking in. The only problem is that they might not keep you full for very long due to the lack in nutrition/fiber/etc and just be more of "empty calories", so it'd be a good idea to also have other snacks like fruits and yogurts as well. I love the light n fit yogurt, which is really good and only 40 calories for 4 ounces!

Snacks are great and those 100 calorie packs are right about where you want a snack to be. A person with a fast metabolism eats roughly every 3 hours--so snacking in between meals is necessary to maintain that metabolism.

In your case, you are 16 and a healthy weight--so you have no need to lose weight. But how active you are determines how many calories you need to take in.

Do plan to have some snack everyday--alternate the 100 calorie snack packs with fruits some day and yogurt some days--to keep that body as active as possible.

the fact that its 100 cals isnt the main problem, there are a few other things that you should consider, ie. Nutritional value (are the calories in the food coming from complex carbs or simple sugars), if the pack has over 10 gram of saturated fat per 100 grams of food it is not that healthy for you, and it also depends on the total amount of exersise you get in a day, if you are an active person 2000-2500 cals a day would be good if not so active then maybe just under 2000 cals. dont go hungry though because you will just put your self into starvation mode and you wont loose any weight, have frequent small healthy meals and stay active. I hope that helps.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.
