Well maybe I can help, because I am in her shoes. My fiance is 11 years older than me, I'm about to turn 23. (Dear God honey, I hope it isn't you over there!)
The age difference does have something to do with, or rather it can. You are probably a lot further along in developing your career path and generally settling down in life. She has a lot of ground to make up. She will be trying very hard to catch up to you as best as possible.
Sounds exactly like me and my man. He always wants to have sex more than I do, but at times I am taking 16 units at college and still working 30-40 hours per week. Right now I have a major family crisis I'm working through. He on the other hand works his 9-5 job. Getting the picture here?
I would say give it some time, and just try and remember what it felt like to be 23, then try and think about the pressure she must feel. I'm sure you guys can get through it!
Good Luck!

Nope....she is going to change even more over the next 5 years. What do you actually have in common besides sex....which you admit she's not into. You must be pretty immature to be with a 23 y/o. Ten years isn't really the point.....As you experience more life, that gap will close. But now, and 33 and 23.....it's worlds apart. I think the deck is stacked against you.

Maybe the problem is not an age thing but an interest thing. If your interests don't mix then it is hard for a relationship to work. Some common ground is important regardless of the age. I sounds like you already have doubts about the soundness of compatibility. I hope you can work it out.

Same with any relationship, it could go either way. Age comes into it somewhere but its the individuals who determine whether it is going to work. im now in a relationship with a man twice my age and its the best thing i've ever been involved in. The age gap has never really been an issue except in the eyes of others. It will only work if you two work together and want the same thing from your relationship. Be honest with yourselves with where it is you want to go in life!! Best of luck!

It can work, there is 7 years between me & my fiance and we been together nearly 3 years, love each other dearly. We have different tastes in things as well but the key is to do something you both enjoy together, or one night do her thing, next night do your thing. The sex unfortunately you are just going to have to deal with, is it really that big a deal though?

Look its your girlfriend so if she doesnt like sex with you then you are doomed with her . Its not that big of an age difference . I would not put up with it and find a new girlfriend . I hope you dont marry her !
