In my humble opinion, choosing either Jiu Jitsiu or Thai boxing would probably be your best bet. If you want to learn a style of the ground game, learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsiu. They have house hold names all over the world such as "Royce, Renzo, Rickson, Ryan, Royler, Helio Gracie" The Gracie family put BJJ on the Map as a debut in UFC 1.
If you would like to further enhance your striking, i suggest Thai Boxing. Top fighters around the world state that Muay Thai Kick Boxing AKA Thai Boxing, is the "best" striking out there.
If you want, learn both! Then you would be a SUPER MMA practitioner.
Good luck with your studies and remember: "Pain is only weakness leaving the body"

Try boxing or judo. Most are commonly available and classes are usually cheaper compared to high maintenance schools like TKD or BJJ. And the styles of these two are different from karate so u learn something new instead of something redundant.

Well, I'd continue with your karate classes, but maybe supliment with something that has a grappling emphasis. These styles are completely different than Karate, and will therefore help make you well rounded. Judo, Jujitsu, Aikido and Wrestling are all good.

I believe you should do something with grappeling. seeing as how you are doing hand and foot oriented martial arts try learning some ground fighting. I would suggest aikijujitsu (sp?). Or BJJ. But, no sport fighthing. We have enough sport fighters we need some real martial artist.
Goodluck with your training.

Look into a weapons class for a change of pace. Iaido or Okinawan kubudo has much to offer.
