FINALLY, somebody's getting it RIGHT!
You don't have to be a Class 3 dealer or have any special 'license' to purchase or posses a M-134. Once you turn 21, you need only pass a BATFE background check, and pay the $200 transfer tax stamp, IF you can find a M-134 for sale.
I KNOW someone who owns and shoots a tripod mounted G.E. Mini-gun. He is a millionaire, and HE even beatches about the price of ammo, feeding this gluttonous monster with 7,62 NATO.
Get a grip, 'cause the half-million price tag AIN'T out of line.

Yeah about half a mil, or more+$200 to the BATFE and if your legally able to own a firearm under federal and local law, and live in a state that allows machine guns, and your local chief law enforcement officer will sign off then you can legally own one.
Be prepared the spend a LOT!! of money on ammo and spare parts!
Also consider where you are going to shoot it!
Most local ranges may not be too keen on your new thousands of rounds per minute toy.
As for where to buy and shoot one, go to the annual Knob Creek Machine Gun shoot in Kentucky and I'm sure you'll find a couple for sale, if you have the right money to offer!
You'll have to arrange for transfer through your local Class III dealer.
But if you can afford it, there really are few better toys, at any price!
Check out Dillon Aero's website if your not sure you want one.

screennamessuck2003 was close on the price, but the $70,000 is for POST 1986 (Law Enforcement/Military Only) sales of the M134 minigun. The best price I have seen for a transferable minigun is $375,000, most are going in the $400,000 to $500,000 range.
Then there are your state laws to consider and the cost of secure storage.
BTW: I looked at your profile and you have 3-4 years before you can even consider buying a Class III firearms, since you have to be 21. Add another 5%-10% per year to the price.

Just go buy a pre 86 m-10 or a m-11 to get your kicks. Cheap, and they cycle 25 rounds per second.

If you can find one made before 1986, then all you have to do is purchase the weapon through a class III dealer, go through the extended background checks the BATF requires, pay the $200 tax stamp and start paying off your 2nd mortage, because the cost of a pre-86 minigun is over $70,000.

First of all, get a class III license.
Then, scrap up $500,000 and probably another million in ammunition.
Then it's all yours.
