I'm sorry that you're in pain. When I had a really bad UTI earlier this year, it was unbearable until I took AZO (over the counter pills). This helps symptoms and can hopefully tide you over until you can get back to your doctor, who will prescribe you some antibiotics, which is what you really need to kill the bad bacteria as soon as possible.

Sounds like your Mom doesn't know enough to help you.
Time to help yourself.
1. Get a hold of a gallon or so of cranberry juice and drink that his will help your kidneys and bladder heal themselves.
2. AZO is a good over-the-counter remedy, but all it does is relieve symptoms such as the pain and burning. That alone is a good thing, but you still have the underlying cause to deal with.
3. How is it you have a Doctor who tells you that you have a 'bad UTI', and then he is gone?
Oh, it is the weekend, and he's OFF for the weekend, I gather.
These infections really DO hurt, I know you're not just making this up.
At least ask your Mom to get you the cranberry juice and the AZO, and if you're not better by Monday, get you in with your Doctor.

You really need to be seen by the drs in the ER. As the other poster said ERs in the U.S. can't refuse to treat a patient if there is no money.
As for the issue of a UTI antibiotics are needed to clear it up. Left untreated any longer could cause it to go in to your kidneys and cause an infection there. Kidney infections can be quite painful and cause other symptoms like a fever and such.
Please let your mom know that you are in a lot of pain and are feeling pretty sick from this pain and then describe to her what you have told us.
Feel better soon.

You poor kid! Call 911 and go, it's true the infection can go into your bloodstream causing you to become septic, and that is BAD. Your kidneys could be severely damaged as well. In the future, see if your mom can cough up the $$ to buy you vitamin C tablets. That might help prevent uti's. Also, you can't overdose it because your body excretes the excess in the urine, which is what soothes the bladder (the excess vit C, that is), not to mention the immune-boosting properties. Get some, but first get to the ER whatever way you have to, NOW!

The ER cannot refuse treatment to you because of money if you are in the US.
Try to get her to bring you!
In the meantime, keep drinking water to cleanse your system and alot of ppl swear by cranberry juice. Look up home remedies.
Hope you feel well soon!

You sound like you need to call an ambulance. If good old mom won't take you, they will. Just dial 9-1-1 and tell them its an emergency. Good luck.
