Theaters keep track of the number of drinks sold and therefore how much money should be on hand by counting the paper cups not sold. Employees HAVE been caught picking up used cups from the floor and selling drinks in them again, so they can pocket the money. The cash register's money will be correct acording to the number of cups remaining. (Theater concession employees will tell you that the cup count is why they must charge full drink price for water or an empty cup.)

I no longer go to theaters.

for many reasons.

screaming children.
minors in charge of food
ratty theaters
poor sound quality
poor lens quality
expensive ticket prices
super expensive food/drink even though theater now is paid with pre show advertisments

can't pause or rewind

If I do go to a theater, I bring snacks and beer in a backpack.
after that I'm set!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Report them to the Health Department if I see it personally.

And, in the future I'd take my own drink and tell them what I saw if I was told I couldn't take it in. But, no one's ever gone thru my diaper bag...
