this is completely cultural. in most parts of the world, including europe, men are unsnipped and women are just fine with it because they are used to it just as here women are used to circumcised and don't like the unsnipped. as a recently circumcised adult male, i can honestly say that I prefer to be uncircumcised. I regret it because you lose a level sensitivity that circumcised men will never enjoy. trust me on this one. i've know both sides of the issue.
as far as not being hygienic, it cleans itself. women aren't hygienic down there either and the world goes on. the only thing circumcision is good for is a slight decrease in transmission of STD's because of the callous that forms on the head, which is what leads to less sensitivity. but STD's should be a none issue because we should all know our partners, right?
