Yes! We have some laws against bigotry, but you usually have to do something before they lock you up.

Perhaps living for a year with the people they hate would help educate them.

So you believe due process is the reason this country is in the mess it is in. Then why do you want to put those you agree with, the KKK and Skin-Heads who also want to do away with due process, in jail?

You are no better than those you are condemning.

Due process in this country is a joke. People rot in jail all the time while "due process" is in the process. If we put everyone in jail that we disagreed with we would all be in jail. There are a lot worse factions in this country than the 2 you mentioned.

The 1st Amendment guarantees the right to associate with anyone you wish, provided that the purpose of that association is not to conspire to commit a crime. Belonging to the KKK or any other hate group in and of itself isn't a crime.

Yes! Then the Jews! Then the Poles. I've been saying this for years. There's no reason to wait for someone to commit a crime before you put them in jail.

Not if they have not broken the law. How about putting all the Illegal mexicans in there since no one in the government has the balls to deport them and keep them out. You can't just lock some one up cause you don't like what they stand for. They have as much right to their beliefs and freedom of speach as you or I.

If they break the law, of course they should be locked up. However, our constitution protects those who "lawfully assemble", and as long as they remain in the bounds of that law, thy are fine. I find them to be repellent in most of the things they say, but I will defend their right to say it.

Due process of law must be observed before putting people in jail.

Sure along with the punks and those anti-globalization hooligans and druggies and gang-bangers. That would be a good start.
