I've been physically active since high school (Track Team). I looked around me then and saw all the fat, unhealthy looking people, and even though maintaining a good diet and exercise regimen can be tough, I developed my own strategy. What do you think? If I am going to skip working out or think about eating junk food or fatty food, I imagine myself fat and ugly and unhealthy. I have powerful visual imagery, so when I imagine myself like that, I can almost feel it. That way, whenever, I might be tempted to do something unhealthful--eating junk or skipping exercise, I just picture the consequences and I get motivated. Anyone try this or think it could help them?

Hi.
Yes, since it works for you it is a good way to get things done. Just make sure you do not overtrain as that can be very serious.
