How can you not lose weight you ask?? 1st off, you will NOT see results that quickly!!! I know, I'm in the process of studying for my certification as a personal trainer. It will take you a good 4 weeks to REALLY notice a big change...DON'T GIVE UP!!! I LOST 40lbs. by eating right, and working out...I'm patient...Quitting will be the WORST thing you can do...Your self-esteem will decrease, and you will feel like a quitter! Stick to the plan!! Go to this site, it's excellent:
*For the diet section, just click below:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/bbmainnu...
*For the fitness section, go here, where you can actually customize your OWN workout, very cool:

Also, drink lots of water to flush out your system, and you may even want to try "cleansing", which from what I know, this is the best online resource for cleansing your system out, I may try it as well, I've read that there are so many benefits to it, as improving your health starts INSIDE of you, NOT outside. Click here: http://www.hps-online.com/nsectionfast.htm

Try going here to see some great ab exercises:

*Hope this helps....it takes time to get in shape, so don't give up easily if you don't immediately see results! Patience is a virtue!

You have to have a diet plan as well. Here is what happens if you do weight training or isometric type exercises and have a belly (and don't change your diet): you begin to develop muscle from the training BUT the muscle develops ON TOP of the fat. So you could end up with a belly that is tight on the outside but still big. You can see guys like that: a stuck out belly that is hard but it is still sticking out and isn't very attractive. Diet AND exercise is key. Exercise alone won't work. Also don't try to lose more than 1 or 2 pounds a week. If you do, your body will think something is wrong with your metabolism and you'll eat extra to gain the weight back. You have to sort of lose the weight without your metabolism realizing it.

i recommend that you measure your body, your chest, your waist, your arms and your thighs. you might discover that the weight training will make your body tighter but heavier because muscle tissue is heavier than fat tissue.
this has to be accompanied by controlling your food intake. you can eat everything, (preferably not processed foods and foods with lots of trans fats) but try to limit your calorie intake.
as a rule of thumb, your calorie intake shuldnt exceed your weight times ten and shouldnt really go below your weight times 8.
losing weight is a slow process. think how long it took you to gain this weight... so dont dispair. if you lose between 1-3 pounds a week, or 1/4-1/2 an inch in the overall measurments (chest, waist and hips), you're on the right track

pick up a 5 or 10 pound weight at the gym and visualize that weight coming off holding the weight in your hands helps bring home just how heavy even 5 pounds of extra fat can be

have you changed your diet? diet is the major part in losing weight. drop off how many calories you intake by a few hundred, and over time you'll lose it and keep it off. if you haven't noticed a difference in about a month then you need to reevaluate your position.

Give it time. If you are exercising so much in a short time your fat will be turning to muscle so you wont lose weight, but you might lose inches round your waist
